I get it. It's probably aimed at high schoolers or something.

It's really shocking that people ACCEPT this level of low bar in movie entertainment.
Reminds me of, "We'll just fire some shit at the wall, and people will pay to watch" type of entertainment.
I could write a book on the crazy levels of... well, there was too much, ima skip to the end and move on.
in summary:
TIME TRAVEL. the weakest, laziest thing these super hero movies resort to while firing their shit gun at the wall. "Fix it with time travel". Good lord. AGAIN????
MEET YOURSELF HIJINKS. Good god. it's just soooo low.

ya'all keep paying for it, they'll just keep firing their shit at the wall.

That's maybe my problem with it. "Not for me" is a great way to put it. But as soon as you tie this directly into the ZS's trilogy and bring Keaton in, you are now catering directly to very specific audiences. But instead you get this mess. A movie that pleases none of the fans it's targeting. Which leaves you saying in the end: Who was this movie made for?

yeah. I'd say Keaton helped interest me, but now that I tried to watch... .ugh!! I hate to bag on a movie - everybody likes different things - but this feels like a comedy after school special mixed in with serious mood hero stuff. weird.

This version of Keaton mentoring in Batman Beyond may have been pretty good. That's a movie they were toying with making while the hype was still a bubbling brew. You can see elements of where that idea might have worked while watching this. That's best I can say about it.

had Flash made 1.1b (as i predicted) no doubt Keatons Batman Beyond (a DCU 'elseworlds' movie) would have been greenlit for summer 2025 (probably with Burton coming back to direct)

Decayed mansion. Grumbling old man. 30 years of peace gone to hell. Return to action. Dusting off of the Batcave. New kid making all kinds of mistakes. Final Act: The man himself suits up. Duo of Death. Funny line from Batman about always killing the bad guy. Cause this Batman kills.
