Robot Chicken Becoming....eh..

Don't get me wrong I've been watching the show since it started out and have my number of favorite skits i.e. Bitch Pudding, The Two Michael Jacksons, anything with Mortal Kombat in it, and the Fumble's GI Joe Sketch. But after watching one of the newer episodes I feel that the show has taken a more sexual turn i.e. The beauty and the beast skit, the boy and his teddy bear, and that part in the holy grail sketch. Now I don't mind some of these sketches for instance I like the she-ra sex tape with beastman, because it wasn't overtly sexual. What I'm saying is that the show can do a lot better without putting too much sex in there.

It isn't fun watching it on tv, but watching it on dvd is. I didn't like watchig season 4 and 5 on tv so I rented the dvds. Found it way more enjoyable watching in a row without blurs or beeps. Plus this show has the best commentaries and extras.

personally, i think it is like a blank canvas to be painted on; anything can be portrayed but the creation is hard and the critic is easy. the alternative for robot chicken to shut down would be lamentful- I think it should be enough to respect the effort and appreciate the show for what it is.

My bf and I always wait how long until a masturbation or poop joke...it's not usually long. Just not funny anymore and yet I always watch hoping it will get better. =/

Yeah, some guys love their penises and are fascinated at what comes out of their body. I did like the double standard that male cartoon animals never wear pants but female cartoon animals are always fully clothed.

Its still on just like Family Guy to remind us that the 1980s though fun for nostalgia's sake...were a long-ass time ago. Time to grow up, just alittle.

I've felt the same way, being perfectly honest I stopped really caring about it after the third season. It has it moments once in a while, but now it just seems like a bunch of shock and awe jokes and celebrity voice cameos. I wish Seth and Matt focused more on Titan Maximum instead now.

I think they phoned it in after season 4.

Its like they are going through the motions now. I have yet to laugh in this current season 6 thus far. I think the main problem is they keep going to the He Man well too often. Another problem, the long segments are the weakest segments in each episode hands down. They just feel long and drug out and before you know it half the episode is gone...

Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were great. I'm on season 4 right now and so far it's absolutely terrible. Really horrible writing, it's like the old writers were all fired and replaced with hacks. Hopefully it gets better but season 4 is almost unwatchable.
