I don't know if anyone is thinking this might be actually good, because it's not. But if you love movies like my friends and I do, you all do need to see it and try to see it just with them. These lame horror movies are the perfect films to just talk through and make fun of. My friends and I just watched it and we had a blast making jokes through out it. I know they want their movies to be taken seriously and considered scary..but really I feel like the people who get the most enjoyment out of these lame horror movies are the ones going into knowing it will be awful, and watching the chain of events unfold.
I love movies, all different kinds of movies, and even these movies have a slight space in my heart because of the laughter they bring me. Of all the movies that my friend's and I screen together basically every week, we're always a little giddy when a bad horror movie comes out.

I think people that like to laugh at horror movie should rent/buy them and watch them at home where they can't interrupt other paying moviegoers.

I did laugh a few times during this movie, but I tried not to. That teacher was comedy gold. But I tried to hold off on the child slapping part too.

Why not stay away from movies alltogether? If you don't have the imagination to take film seriously, I don't understand the need to laugh it off? It's textbook, like you and your friends are trying to comfort yourself, because in reality, if you watched a horror movie alone you'd be scared *beep*

I can't take teeny chick-flicks seriously, so I stay away from them. It takes at least some amount of intellect, to enjoy genre-films, and as a rule of thumb I find the real art of filmmaking in horror and the likes

there are some people loving this movie that cannot accept the idea that there are others that didnt like this movie, and decided to defend this movie FULL FORCE LOL

Good filming and good lighting. The acting and directing is very weak. I felt like the actors were trying to scare people in a Haunted house. That level of acting. I can't believe Raimi and Tapert produced it.

I will admit that there were certain parts of the film that were rather funny when attempting to have some scares.

After I watch a movie with some buddies we usually check IMDB for self loving posts like this and get a little laugh.

I mean, these lame posts by people who want to be taken as superior than avg.

I feel one gets the most out of reading comments like these are the ones going into them knowing it'll be another awful and pretentious post.

I thought it was very boring and I wasn't scared at all. I watched MAMA before this and it was much scarier. It was a great story, but it needed more development. Where did the demon come from? Who put it in the box? How did the old lady come into contact with the box? How did the demon attach the old lady when the box had not been opened? What happened to the dentist? Too many unanswered questions.
