Amazing. The majority of this person's posts question the ratings of various movies...
If all you're looking for is someone to reflect your own taste in movies back at you, then the IMDB community will be no poorer for you having left.

IMDB is a site where anybody can vote. On rotten tomatoes you can mostly see views bu critics and average viewers don't always agree with people who write for money. You don't have to agree with the whole voting.27,042 people voted 8 for this movie while 1,834 people voted 5. So what? Just because you are among some 1800 people that does mean IMDB's rating system is not right? Don't always trust IMDB point. Trust your own likings. There are movies which are rated more than 8 here but if you check it out you will see there may be more than 10.000 people who gave them 1.(Example: Godfather)

And the main reason being, is that rarely you see a movie change from one type of genre (comedy/drama) to another type (thriller/dark drama) in the middle of the movie so smoothly. It was very unique to me and very well done. When a movie can capture a bevy of emotion from the viewer, it should be respected.
shareI think it's a bit high considering how IMDB ratings work, but it doesn't bother me much, the movie was good enough to get past 7.3 anyways.
