I am quite a newbie to Max&Paddy. I must confess that I had never seen Phoenix Nights but wanted to give M&P a go. I was hooked!!! So much that I went out last week and bought series 1&2 boxset which is fantastic. Peter Kay is a genius!!
Anyway back to M&P. My fav ep has to be the one where they were in prison. Paddy's worry that he will get bummed is hilarious and his cellmate "Cliff" had me in stitches.

when they offer the pig to the muslim butchers and have to run back into the van cus there gettin chased with meat clevers!

'you can call me halal' was definately the funniest moment of the whole series.

Another hilarious scene was when Max, Cliff and Paddy were preparing to defend themselves against Raymond the Bastard and his gang, and Cliff Richard's "Wired for Sound" was playing in the background. I don't know why, but I found that really funny.
