A cat gets gratuitously shot in this film, I don't see anything funny about that. I wish filmmakers would stop using animals for their stupid jokes.

I thought the film was pretty bad and uninteresting before hand, but that scene put it over the edge.

I wish these films came with a big warning sign. We hate cats!! So I could stay away from them.

It's funny that in a scene in which numerous birds are shot, you only take offense at the cat's death. Which is obviously meant to be pretty awful and to reflect the shooter's mental instability.

I totally agree with you. This film is pure gaslighting, just like Harmony Korines films(where they kill cats alot). It's psychopathic garbage which tries to rewire people's brains, change their perception of reality- gaslightning.

The film can only appeal to people with low empathy and left-brained people who've had their brains rewired. Not to mention hipsters(who are lef-brain dominant), who "likes" the film because it's rated high and sort of avant garde. It's the emperor's new clothes mechanism that entraps these hipsters.

It might help to know that you can check the IMDB "Plot Keywords" and find your warnings there. This movie is tagged with the keywords "killing a cat" and "killing an animal" which seem like good ones to look for. More can be created if you don't find the ones you want.

I know how you feel about animal cruelty and feel the same way. I feel bad for the crows too. They're about as smart as cats and get a bad rap for being black and having scary voices. I also feel bad for animals that I don't like.

The message board subjects are useful to check out too. Your topic also makes for a good warning for people who check, so you're helping!

Looking at IMDB plot keywords is a great way to have a movie spoiled for you.
