this movie is so cute. I kind of liked that they stayed young!

Through most of the latter part of the movie I was thinking that they were gonna show a scene at the end of the movie of both of the characters as adults in like 30s or 40s running into each other somewhere and then one asks the other to go for coffee or something like that and we see that neither had really gotten over their "first" love. I was kinda disappointed that it didn't happen that way. It would've been kinda nice. Anyway, although I loved this movie and would love a sequel I don't think there is much chance of that ever happening. And it would be hard to retell the movie from rose's point of view since the actors would have grown up a lot by the time the second one is done and there is no way they can re-shoot the scenes.

The story from Rose's point of view would have been interesting but it's too late now. Really enjoyed this film.

this is one of my favorite movies <3
i was dissapointed at the end, but after i think about it the ending was okay.
i think a sequal would ruin the first movie, but i would like to see it anyway lol it's so confusing.
maybe if it ended different, or maybe if rosemary would have at least gave him a chance, then we wouldn't beg for a sequal. everone here wants a sequal because the ending was dissapointing. but still a very great movie.

They should make one from Rosemary's point of view.

I think maybe a sequel would be cool. I would definitely watch it. I thought the ending was sad and that it should have been different.

I'm thinking Little Manhatten 2 being set in the future. Unfortunatly, the future I'm thinking about is like 20 years later.

My plot idea is basically having the movie from Rosemary's view, and have her and Gabe randomly meet at a wedding (she's a friend of the groom (yes, groom), and vice versa). They both have significant others. The movie could use some flashbacks from this one as they start to remember each other.

I just watched the movie today and I would love to see a sequel. The ending should be a little happier. Even if it's just a story of a 11 year-old, he could be with Rosemary, which didn't happened, apparently.

And I think Rosemary's parents after seeing Gabe's love for Rosemary, would probably keep her in the same school where Gabe was.

i dont think a sequel would be good for this film. it is perfect as the way it is. If there was a Sequel I wouldnt actually have gabe and rosemary "hook up". I think I would maybe have them meet each other and the movie would be kind of liek them telling each other the stories of their lives since that time. I would make it more of a rekindlned freindship film then a love story.

honostly I rather there not be a sequel

After watching "Before Sunset", I think a sequel would be very nice to see.

Both actors are 18 now and I think they should make one in a couple of years, when they're both 20 and they had lost touch with each other, but meet up again, in a restaurant, when both are dating other people. It gets complicated after Rosemary's boyfriend asks her to marry him, but both Gabe and Rosemary have strong feelings for each other. At the end, they both realize that they're meant for each other.

So, what happens when Rosemary comes back from camp? And after The High School?
I think it's time for the sequel. I mean, even though the movie ended up quite nicely, the sequel can actually focus on the possibility that first love can still work out through the past of time.
But it only would be worth it if they use the same actors (Josh and Charlie).
