Well, you're not the only one who wishes that they should make a sequel. But, as debated here often, people are afraid a sequel would destroy the beauty of the ending...
A epilogue would be nice though! It's really a great movie.

Yeah that would be cool if they made a sequel but I would want it when they were like 18-21 college years, then they would get married ;) I think an epilogue would be awesome too!

shareI think she would do it. If they make a sequel though and want to have the same actors they will have to wait, considering they are only like 14 right now. They should at least be like 17 or 18, well if I made a sequel I would want them older. Anywho I don't think they will have a sequel, but we can all wish and hope!

id like to see a sequel. i mean, yeah, they would meet up when theyre older. 17-20 would be good. i mean, come on, its not like theyd never see eachother again, they live in the same city and just go to dif schools.

Well, personally, I'd prefer an epilogue rather than an actual sequel 'cause if they did and they went into the details, I think that would be like all other movies with 'First Love never Dies' theme. Little Manhattan, IMO, is just about 'First Love' that's it. As Gabe said, "Love ends" but the memories continue.
An epilogue, OTOH, would just show what happened to them, that would be more sweet, I think.
I would love to see it, seeing how well they did with "Before Sunset" after "Before Sunrise" was such a great movie and they were I think a good decade apart. To many, Before Sunset is better then the first because of it's realism in a meeting between 2 people who haven't talked in years that were romantically linked. Maybe they could go the same route if they do choose to. But plus, they should also wait a little while longer for it to get more popular. I don't think many people know this movie exists.

I don't think they should make a sequal. The movie is about the innocence of a first love and I don't think they can recapture the same memories or feelings with them getting older and falling in love again.
shareI agree with lightninggirl, the theme would be distorted somewhat.. Well, personally, I'm really curious about the idea of a sequel. But beyond that, the theme is about first love. A sequel would be about falling in love again.. I think we have too many of those already. JMO.

Though most of us would like to see a sequel,it could take away from the first movie! I think most of us are just curious as to what would happen if they met each other later or something like that. I agree that the first one is wonderful and a good movie in and of itself. It doesn't need to be continued but it would be interesting if they ever made a sequel. I'm sure if they ever did people would either hate it or love it. And everyone would compare it to the original.
I myself think a sequel would be awesome, but if it didn't turn out the way I have been picturing it in my head then I could be disappointed. Right now its fun just to speculate on a sequel and what could happen!

i think that if they made one, and made it from rosemary's point of view, that we could understand what she fells..such as when gabe kisses her. it would be just so great.
