WEll 2 good movies are...

1. the Blue Lagoon- Starring Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkin 2 children are ship wrecked on a deserted island and they grow up to love each other and it is very good I highly recommend it. it is on IMDB just type in at the search bar The blue Lagoon and it will take you there. Be warned it is rated R!

2. Return to Blue Lagoon-You will love this movie if you saw the Blue Lagoon! Starring Milla Jovovich and Brian Krause. It is just like the first one except with some different changes. So it is also on Imdb The same as what you would do for The Blue Lagoon.

ANd if you type in at the search bar Romance movies it will give a whole list of them! So I am glad I could be of service!

A Little Romance is the closest to Little Manhattan. A charming young love film with a very young (13) Diane Lane.
It's funny & romantic. Blue Lagoon I love but it's a bit corny & really a sexplotation film. Not truly romantic.

I think Little Romance is a lot more romantic then Little Manhatten which is more 'cute' then romantic. But I think you'll enjoy it. Also Love,Actually has a few sub-plots & the one featuring the two young kids (about 12-13) is fantastic. I actually had tears watching it. Captures young romance in a very realistic way. Let me know what you think of any of these movies you decide to watch.

I really like My Girl 2 as opposed to My Girl. MG2 has more of a love story. Tuck Everlasting is pretty cute too.

Although not a movie, this is a direct copy of the series "The Wonder Years." In fact, I believe the producer/director also was a part of it. A movie, similar, I recall a movie made in the '70's called "Melody" starring Mark Lester, Tracy Hyde, and H.R. pufnstuf star, Jack Wild. Check it out if you get a chance. Very similar adolescent themes.

The Man in the Moon.

It's about young love but it's really sad, and it kind of takes place a longer time ago.

Lucas starring Corey Haim, its a cute 80's movie about his first crush ( also the first movie Wynona Ryder was in ) and Desert Bloom was also a similar and very good movie . i think Ive seen all these movies people have listed, never realized how much i like this sort of thing :0)

Why isn't anyone mentioning the movie "Man In The Moon" (1991)Reese Witherspoon's film debut?

It's a great movie on first love, but captures the reality that while Dani (Witherspoon) loves Court; Court (James London) finds himself attracted to Maureen (Warfield). A very well made movie and also shows the beauty of Louisiana and the simple times of the 1950's.

If you haven't seen it, check it out.
