One of the Saddest Episodes

Have not watched Medium in a while, so I went back and watched some of my DVDs. I had forgotten that Patricia's real life brother Richmond Arquette was in an episode.

“The Changed Man” was so sad. Of course there is a lot of sadness in a show concerning murder victims. But this was especially poignant. His character of David had been killing prostitutes. But then he was shot in the head by one of their pimps. The result was total amnesia and a personality change.

He did not remember his former evil ways. He became a new man.The ending was so very sad when he was confronted by Allison and the District Attorney. It seemed the memories started to come back. And he admitted that they had to “go out to the desert” where he had buried all his victims.

I think Richmond Arquette did a fantastic job. Jamie Ray Newman as his wife was also superb.

I used to watch Medium religiously - but weirdly I don't actually remember this episode, which sounds like it was one of the best. I'm going to have to find it 'somewhere' and give it a watch.

I also never missed an episode. When I started buying the DVDs ten years later it was like watching a new show. There were many episodes in which I could not remember the resolution. There were some episodes which I had forgotten completely.

Strangely enough the one that I DID remember the best was the one that starred another Arquette sibling, Patricia’s sister Rosanna.

That one really had a really shocking ending. I think it is called “Lady Killer”.

I am going through some episodes again after taking a break for a few years. And again, it is like watching a whole new show. Between the dream sequences, her visions, and everything else that goes on in a episode, I am usually surprised by the ending.

Or else my memory is failing😂

😄

I think I remember that Rosanna Arquette episode. She played an author of a 'how to be a pick-up artist' type book, and Alison saw her in her visions as the guilty party, but the killer was actually a guy that had read her book and was using her methods. Is that right (or something along those lines)?

Yes! That surprised the heck out of me! That person should never have tried to hit on Lee Scanlon! He wasn’t a detective for nothing😀
