I loved it. The point was to root for him. The emotional attachment to the character was remarkable.

Sorry. I don't like motor bikes but thought this is a majestic film. At the beginning I kept waiting for the inevitable moment when Bert would get ripped off and his dream crushed, as per most modern movies, but instead of that for once we saw the basic good that exists in most people as they supported Bert and each other.

And my 10 y.o. enjoyed it as well, despite no monsters or FX.

I live in Japan and watched this movie dubbed in Japanese. While I got very little of the dialog, I thought this movie made quite a BIG point and made it in a very charming and refreshing way. Nothing boring about it, and I'm not even into motorcycles.

This movie is about the human spirit. If that bores you, then I imagine most of life does as well.
