omg! this movie was so boring! it went on and on and on!! there was no point to this movie!!! aahh!

You obviously have no idea what is and is not a good movie. For you not to realize the point of the movie is hard to believe, unless you suffer from a mental illness. For you to say it's the "worlds most boring movie" let's me know that you do suffer from a mental illness.

This was a great "feel Good" movie. I watched it while in the Hospital after having a leg amputated. It let me escape my situation for a while and enjoy a wonderful film and root for Burt. I now wish that I had a chance to meet the real Burt Munro.

To the original poster,

OMG!!! You'd LOVE "Shadowlands"...or "Howard's End"...or "84 Charring Cross Road". They had lots of "points". Just the kinds of movies all fifth graders love.

I watched the movie when it first came out, to understand the movie TOTALLY you really need to be a New Zealander. Everything Burt did, everything he said was 100% Kiwi. Of course anyone with an open mind and a brain more intelligent than the OP would greatly enjoy the movie.

Although watching a very close rendition of Burt as a Kiwi, the film just clicked with me and I could understand everything about how he thought, acted and so on. Burt was a 'real' Kiwi.

To the OP, you are a moron, please go back to your video games.

Typing like that I'm not surprised you didn't like it.

I don't consider myself particularly patient with movies but I was enthralled with every minute of this movie. It was so well made and Anthony Hopkins drew me into the character so well that, even if it wasn't action packed, I was sad when it ended because I'd enjoyed the ride so much (no pun intended).

If, by boring, you mean this film didn't pander to whatever the mindless masses wanted that year, then you might have a point. But if you mean boring as in not captivating, not entertaining, then you are dead wrong. The best word I can use to describe this film to someone is 'nice'. It is just such a nice film. It doesn't need anythng other than making the viewer feel nice! This film is totally, 100% nice.
