This is a case of much of the show working because of the chemistry of the cast ...and that's unlikely to strike twice.

Maybe they would try to have a show that makes sense, this time.

Good idea! But this time they should replace Purgatory with Hell.

Actually I'd be 100% on board with this. At least keep the S1 premise. S1 is one of the greatest seasons of TV ever. It eventually became complete rubbish but the idea is brilliant. All in.

Yeah, ABC has floated trial ballooons like this periodically for years. The reply is always *crickets*.

Nobody cares. LOST burned all the goodwill it had with many of its original fans with that ridiculous final season and ep.

Initially, a rush of people praised the final episode and the conclusion, but as time passed, everyone came to their senses and starting giving it a harder look. Except for small diehard forums like this, LOST is now largely regarded as a joke by pop culture media.
