A kid DID die in "Bridge to Terabithia" and "My Girl", but there must be more!!

-"Morello, do you wish to see... a miracle?"

reply

Well, technically, two children are hanged in "The Skeleton Key".
But it happens after a body switch so only the audience knows. That scene was kind of sickening.

SPOILER ALERT

Leslie = Bridge to Terabithia (Drowned while unconscious)
Katie = Ghost Ship (raped *in original script* then hung in her cabin)
Carol Anne = Poltergeist (I think it was the 2nd or 3rd one)
Casper = Casper (The non-cartoonish one, the one with Bill Pullman)
The Boy = Phantoms (With Ben Affleck and Peter O'Tool)

reply

I haven´t read any script or about any alternative endings but the character Carol Anne is not killed in any of the Poltergeist-movies shown in the theatre.

How ever the actress Heather O'Rourke who played the little girl did passed away irl during or after they completed the filming of the third movie.

@Sure I could be polite and courteous but where´s the fun in that?

reply

Ashley_the_Little_Rogue is probably referring to the sequence where the Freeling family travels through the other realm in Poltergeist 2. Carol Anne appears to die and rapidly decay. It was one of Kane/The Beast's ruses.

reply

Aaah u probably right but since she was saved I never thought of that :)
That was one of many scene that scared the sh&%#t out of me as a kid.

@Sure I could be polite and courteous but where´s the fun in that?

reply

The Children. Almost all of the kids die in that. Though technically they don't die, they're killed by their parents, but still.
