Did anyone else think this project was X-Men related?

Because I sure did... and was really excited about it until I read the description and found out it had nothing to do with everyone's favourite Cajun X-Man. So yeah, just wondering.

Yeah, at first I almost wet myself I was so excited. Then I nearly cried because I was so disappointed.
There was supposed to be an awesome quick scene in X2 when the shockwave is hitting all the humans, when the scene cuts to a dimly lit basement with 4 guys playing cards, and one of them is Gambit. I can only imagine how cool it would have been to see some person slowly bring down his cards to reveal he was Remy. He really needs to be in the next X-men

yup.

Yep, I did hahaha. This was funny. Ups, my bad...

Even so, my dissapointment wasn't so big since I saw that Ethan and Joel Coen will come back with another crime comedy, so I didn't mind...

...that much... :(

I thought it was an X-men flick too because the movie Wolverine is coming out in 2008 and it's the prequel to the X-men trilogy. I can't wait!

reply

Yeah, I thought it was about the "X-man" Gambit since he wasn't in any of the 3 movies. As if they forgot and were all like "Dude, we forgot about the best of the X-men... Gambit! Son of a bitch." Then I saw that it was written be Coen and I thought "no way in hell."
