John Carter is a great character ruined by a mediocre movie.
Naw. They did a great job. I read the book and for a movie, it is very good. Is the book better? Of course but they are 99.999% of the time.
shareIn high school read the whole John Carter of Mars, Carson Napier of Venus and ?? Moon series at lunchtime. I loved them. They are not deep stories. They are the perfect pulp stories for a special effects movie, but I was not impressed. I suppose I should be glad that I think my imagination is better than Hollywood.
