Best Christmas movie ever!

Bad Santa is a close runner-up, but you simply cannot beat this as a dissection of the true meaning of Christmas.

-People are nice at Christmas !
-No, Charlie. Only morons are nice at Christmas.

A very good movie in general... and one of the most underrated I've seen

reply

An excellent dark comedy and if your looking for something as alternative to the cheerier holiday films and don't mind a little violence (OK a lot of violence) this could be your movie. John Cusack is outstanding as are Oliver Platt and Billy Bob Thornton. Connie Nielson is stunningly beautiful and very good as well. Also it is her birthday today so best wishes to Connie. Good screen play and very nicely directed by Harold Ramis.

It was okay but I wouldn't call it the best Christmas movie ever. A Christmas Story or It's A Wonderful Life or something.

reply

too sleazy to be even called a Christmas movie. who are you people?

reply

Not technically a Christmas movie but I think they mean "Christmas movie" as in it takes place around Christmas.
