The truth is never anti-anything.

Besides, your quote speaks books about you. You were actually enjoying and sympathizing with the movie's message until you realized that - according to you - it is anti-American ...

nevermind that it's the truth ... if the truth is critical of your countrie's government, then it must be "bullsh!". How miserable.

What type of garbage are you talking about? Honestly you're the poster child for why not everybody with a mouth, and a less than half functioning brain should be allowed to have a computer.

First what a stupid list, all you did was post wiki articles that you seem to take at face value, as if they are the gold standard of knowledge, when you can't even you use it as a source on a college paper. You do know it can be edited by anybody write? You also seem to try, and make the list longer by posting things separately when they could easily be put together, like Vietnam, and My Lai to try, and make the crimes look bigger. Also what does it matter if some of those aren't even consider a bad thing? Vietnam you seem to talk about as if you everything about fail to mention that the north invaded the south, and did mass killings of civilians who refused to join them, but lets only talk about My Lai as if the US is responsible because they must of ordered it to occur, and it couldn't have been done independently by the soldiers on the grown./s Panama? Again are you just posting random things about the US thinking there all bad, that wiki doesn't even make the US look bad at all, just took down a drug dealing dictator?

Jealousy? Stop embarrassing yourself. The people of the world hate the American Empire because of its gigantic list of crimes against people in every corner of the globe. You don't care how our actions affect people abroad? You don't care how those people feel about our crimes? Fine, then 2001 wasn't the last 9/11 we're gonna have.
Yep an empire, this just tell me what kind of person you are. Where is this empire, I can't think of any wars where we keep land since we became a world power? Who is this America hating world? Do you speak for all the 7+ billion? No so stop trying to act like you do. You aren't cool, trying to act all counter culture, and edgy. Heck, Vietnam the country that you would say hates us actually has over a 90%+ high opinion of the US. But you wouldn't know that right? 9/11, won't be the last? By that tone it sounds like you're saying the US deserved it, and should have something else happen, are you saying that? I'd have to report you to DHS if you do.But again you only care about the war parts, where you think every conflict the US was involved in must be for bad reasons and think nothing about all the humanitarian aid, but o'well that would fit the narrative in you small narrow little ego.

I'm an American and I want for us to become a neutral country like Switzerland. We need to stop acting like we're above the world, and recognize that we're just one part of a world community.
Your an American? Good for you, what makes you think I care what you view as an American is in the first place. Also don't say "we" you don't speak for me, or anybody else just yourself. Neutral country? Lol, thats the only funny thing you've said so far. Do you understand what that would mean? No of course not or you never would of said that; which lets me know just how much you know about politics is. Zero!Honestly comparing a world power like the US to Switzerland is ridiculous, do you remember in history how we were neutral, and wars still happened? And if we did what do you think would happen that the US wouldn't be pressured by other countries, or the UN to get involved? Or that another country would be glad to take its place? Let me tell who those countries would be, China, and Russia, and if you want to complain about what the US does, then you'll faint at what they do. But ok lets pull back all our bases, and troops around the world. First South Korea is at war with the north since deterrents of US involvement are gone. China extends it boundaries maybe going after Taiwan, and now have influence with all the middle east since all the partners the US had are now looking for a new big brother. Israel? War, since the surrounding countries will now attack it.Russia will continue to spread through the former Iron Curtain since they have been able to do it unopposed with Georgia, and Ukraine, and with the big threat of the US gone since neutrality means they won't do anything, they can now start proxy wars with out a worry, since NATO just lost the US. These are only a few.

We do more military spending than every other country in the world combined. We are the world's largest arms supplier. People have LEGITIMATE grievances with us.
Again big deal, do you even understand how that money is used, we have the most money in the budget, because we are the most involved, and are constantly developing new tech, do you think that after a new tank, or jet is made that we just stop? No, if so how would technology advance.Without that budget that thing you call the internet that you're using to complain about it wouldn't of existed since it was developed by D.A.R.P.A. Have you looked at the charts, while the US military budget has remained constant, other countries, like China, and Russia have increased theirs dramatically every year. Do you really think this is a good time to cut back? Lol no. We have that budget to stay ahead of them in development, if they were to catch up it would only lead to bigger issues later on. As a country no matter which one you are if you have an advantage you keep it. That isn't a US thing, but a thing any, and every country does.People have no grievance with us, only in your head they do. What does selling arms, big deal, all countries capable of it do. Even more funny is your lovely Switzerland is high up on that list. We sell tanks, guns, jets to other western, and friendly countries. Do you think a new F-35 is going to the Sudan? LOL no its going to England, Japan, etc.Even if Pakistan for instance is an ally we wouldn't give them that. So having a big budget, and selling weapons that had the deals made while they were still in development is not a LEGITIMATE grievance, if it was it would be with every arms producing country in the world, not just the US.

Now stop getting all your life lessons from Anime.

Seriously? And where did you get that bullshyte statistic from? Your DHS propaganda machine? Ever been to Vietnam?

If you seriously think your government only sells weapons to their official allies, you are sadly mistaken.

you are an idiot of gargantuan proportions.

I wanted to portray my feelings and use the word gargantuan - killing two birds.

I'm a Russian-American who absolutely loves the USA, but I find there to be few things more ignorant than blind patriotism. Just the idea of good-and-evil in the real world is fairly ignorant, every government does plenty of bad things that would be considered "evil", and the U.S. government is no exception. I honestly don't mind watching a movie that shows the dark side of a country, including the U.S., because God knows every government has some form of selfishness, greed, disregard for others, or what you would call "evil" as part of its agenda.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.

SOME PEOPLE think that if something, uh, "negative" is pointed-out by someone, then the "pointer" MUST BE ANTI-AMERICAN.

Actress Kim Hunter signed at anti-lynching petition in the 1950s and her career was (temporarily) derailed. Why? The McCarthy-ites figured she MUST be a Commie, an anti-American Commie! J. Edgar Hoover (among others) thought the Civil Rights movement in the '50s and '60s was infiltrated or run by Communists. "What, black Americans can't vote or use the same water-fountains in America? What are you, a Commie troublemaker?!?"

Some people don't mind if evil exists or prevails, just so long as it DOESN'T IMPACT UPON THEIR LIVES. Someone points out that, oh, maybe folks in America or the American gov't (along with the UK) sell guns to bad people, so "somewhat" MUST have it in for America...jeeez.

So, the absolute criterion for the quality of a film is its pro- or anti-Americanism. Pro = good film. Anti = bad film. Typical American Manichaeism!
