Hoodoo Magic Real?

It only works if you're female, apparently.

Same with horoscopes, tarot cards and psychics.

Yes, it real and practiced. My moms mom grew up in Louisiana. She often talked of voodoo or the magic. As a kid I didn't pay much attention. It was just her usual gibberish as she was always talking. But as a young adult I wanted to look more into my family history. I read up on Louisiana and voodoo. I've always found the belief of others interesting. You have to keep in mind those who use voodoo often do it based on family traditions. After talking to my grandma about it I learned it wasn't all magic and spirits. She was more into herbs and the healing of plants. So I'd hardly call it voodoo. It's natural healing.

The voodoo part though of magic and spirits is real to many. My grandma had stories she had heard from others as a kid such as dead coming back alive, long family curses that passed down for centuries and so on. She had personally witness things she couldn't explain too. She had always seen spirits and demons. She said once she was talking to a man and his face ran down like a melting candle. He died that night in his sleep. I too have always seen spirits and ghosts and even a demon. I believe it's a family gift.

The thing is you may not believe it but it is very real to many people.
