Still one of the best replay values ever

Played and beaten this game over 15 times, and I STILL can't get tired of it.

Agreed.

It is something extra when you play it on a rainy night, lights out, and begans to spar with Ganados.

Agreed.

For a console game that came out prior to the onset of decent online play, it represents perhaps the greatest replay value of all time.

I think it's a combination of perfectly balance gameplay with massive, massive environments.

RE5 better have loads of Merc-type sub games and a 'Different Ways' type scenario of Shiva.

I never got around to buying it until early last year. But I played it and beat it like 5 times last summer, it's my favorite game!

I've completed it over 47 times, and it's still my all-time favorite game.

Oh yeah, RE4 never gets old. I could play that game and nothing else for months and probably not get bored. I'd do playthroughs only using one weapon, and maybe one only using eggs... Man, I should try that now.

I'm replaying it right now for my second time through. It's my favorite game of all time.

Hell yeah!
I only bought the game last year when it was ported to PS3, I've played it twenty times already, and it's so amazing, that now I envy people who say they're just starting their first playthrough.
I wish I could forget this game just to be able to play it the first time again.
Maybe if I laid the game away for a few weeks or months, I'd be having a blast like that playing it again. But I dig the game so much, that I really have to play it every now and then.
And to think this game is six years old, it's awesome.
