Any other men feel ashamed while watching this?
This movie made me ashamed of being a man. The things some men do to women...
Any other guys out there who felt the same way?
Fetchez la vache!

Yes. It made me with all of the things they put these ladies through. Even the corporate head is a pig who does not care what Josie is going through, and gets a female lawyer as a power play to sway the jury. Not every man that works in the mine is bad, as one stood with Josey near the end. However, most were bad and made me ashamed.

No. I worked on a production line years ago and the girl who worked on the line with me claimed the forklift operator was harassing her -- he was always coming on our line so I figured he was. So when management came to me and asked me what was going on I told them her side of the story. He was fired. Later on I find out she was flirting with everyone in the place -- she flirted with me but I ignored her because I didn't find her attractive. After finding out she was flirting with everyone I couldn't blame the guy on forklift for constantly trying to talk to her if she was sending out the vibe. Ultimately the only reason I think she complained was because her boyfriend who worked a couple lines over probably found out and that was her only way to appear innocent.
No, I don't feel ashamed. Do I like what was done to the women in the film -- no. I don't feel ashamed because life isn't as black and white as this movie. Should women feel ashamed for getting pregnant by deadbeats and low-lives?

I'm not ashamed to be a man. I have different opinions after watching this movie.
shareNope, not even. Why the heck should we men be? NO REASONS AT ALL.
If you feel ashamed, it means your man-card has been revoked eons ago.
Do you think women were ashamed to be women after watching that bar skank call Woody Harrelson a "homo" because he wasn't interested in her? Nope, they felt good about themselves.
shareThere are some horrible men in this film but if you watch the scene where her dad stands up for her it is mostly other male co-workers who are encouraging him so its not like all the men were like that. That mirrors the real life case where the women had just as many men defending them as harassing men.
No one should be ashamed of anyone elses actions only their own.
No, I'm too busy being ashamed that Hitler was a man. What a preposterous notion!
Please feel free to remove your balls from your woman's purse. Thank you.
