Did anyone else besides me like this movie?

I absolutely LOVE this film. There's nothing about it I thought should have been done to
Make it a better film. Story was very good, suspenseful and one of the better vampire
Horror films made in years. Like some others, I was greatly dissapointed at the follow up film!!!
I haven't read the comics so I don't know that the first was consistent with the comics it is
Influenced by but stand alone, the first was a good horror film. Second film in the series
Absolutely terribly made and bad choices made by several characters in the sequel.
A shame, I thought this would make a great trilogy based on the first film.
I'm watching this still in 2012!!!!

I loved it too, it was one of the better vampire movies I've seen. They made the vamps monsters like they should be, not sparkling boyfriends.

I loved this film - gave it a 7.5 - the setting was great and the vampire attacks were really nasty. The vampires were so strange and otherworldly. I wanted to know more about them. Shame the sequel was not great - now we won't see further instalments.

You are not alone Angela ... I think it's the best also ... The vampires in this movie scare me more than all the others put together .. I try to watch it every time it comes on .. It's on now .
