What happened to Lucy Liu?

I don't thnk she;s that good, but she used to be a major hit in tons of moves first billing, now shes in crap films or low budget unknown works.
what happened?

She probably just made a bad choice or wanted to try something new, something that wasn't an ethnic specific role.

You never know with movies, they sound great when you read them but you'll never know how the viewers will respond until it hits theater or DVD's ( a lot of movies make their money in DVD sales and rental more than in the theater itself).

I felt this would have been better as a TV movie and I HATED Lucky Number Slevin.

What happened to Lucy Liu? She made a pretty damn good vampire movie in which she played a happy, family oriented professional woman turned into a vengeful killer. She is convincing in both roles. At 40 she is a physical presence most 20 year old women would kill for. If the rest of you cannot see this I am worried about you.

If you look Lucy Liu up on IMDB you will find she prefers TV roles in multi-year series. She makes great money, mostly gets to stay in New York where she lives and has a less hectic schedule. In spite of what you say, every actress that is "great" isn't always the headliner.
Also less criticism from people like you and the rest of the bloggers.
She keeps a pretty low profile for the most part.
I have nothing but love and respect for her. Always have.
