Was Ennis actually gay?
I'm confused: Was Ennis actually gay? After all, at one point, he says to Jack: "You made me like this." Does that mean he was never attracted to males before Jack? Or was he only "gay for Jack"?

shareHe was pan.
shareThat's a good question.
He could have put on his wedding ring after the divorce so that women would not hit up on him like the waitress did.
Maybe he didn't turn her down being too afraid for her to suspect he also had sex with a man.
Or he could have said, "I'm married and I don't wear a ring."
Since he didn't do either one that shows that he likes sex with women.
Therefore he is bi.
In my opinion, he is simply under heavy pressure to keep the secret from his family; he does not feel complete with his sexual identity, which causes him a lot of anger and frustration, leading him to take it out on Jack.
