This is where the series took a turn for me.
Like WTF - keep bond a a cool, debonair, unflappable, spy.
Don't sit him in a chair to have his manhood accosted. SMH in disgust.
Sean Connery would not have agreed to this.

Makes me laugh when I imagine sir Roger Moore in that situation...

That said, I disagree with the OP, of course. That was the scene in which James Bond came back alive kicking and screaming after the boredom of Pierce Brosnan. Great stuff, great movie.
