The truth hurts!
Absolutely spot on! Men will always want the details about what went on when a woman sleeps with another man. Men will claim that they will forgive a woman but the reality is that they never will and it will always linger and jump up and take centre stage in a fight.
Men and women are not the same animal. F feminism and F any. Man that falls for this rubbish ... you want equal rights? Where are the rights of men? Men should be allowed to be men and women should be allowed to be women ... go to the far east ... you will see what I mean :-)
Don't worry, this is not a rant; I am simply poking fun at anyone that may read this!
By the way, I really do identify with this movie tremendously. Me and a mate of mine, back in the dark ages when I was in my mid twenties met two girls and got into relationships with them. The girls were also friends from the beginning when we met them. For some bizarre reason, two years into the relationship we swapped partners in a very drunk state on new year's eve. For some reason we all found it hilarious and continued to perversely dabble in it (swapping partners) until eventually I fell in love with my mate's woman and he fell in love with mine. The women stuck to their initial feelings and this went on for another couple of years until none of us could take it anymore. We had the long talks, the fights, the splits, the get-backs ... everything!
Here's the thing: men want to believe they are the best lovers. We don't understand that there are many issues that a woman takes into consideration. When me and my mate were dating the two women, they both seemed to prefer him over me and it was killing me. He was better looking, funnier and was a very considerate man. I was more of an animal; I was brutally truthful, impulsive and apparently a little more exciting and more financially secure. Eventually they were both leaning towards my side although it was pretty obvious they were both emotionally attached to him. It got infinitely complex so we decided it would be better off to end it all.
Me and my mate are now married to two different women and live countries apart. When we get together every few years, we talk about nothing other than those years in the past. We still can't understand how it all happened the way it did. How the women became open to this experience still confuses the hell out of us.
