I won't say it's the most horrible movie ever. I can think of a few. But I can't think of 250 worse movies. This film should definately be on that list. I do think, when you consider the hype, and the casting of Elisha Cuthbert (who I once thought was destined for A-List It-Girl status, though looking over her last few films, and the ones upcoming, I'm not certain anymore), this film was disappointing. As far as horror films go, though, it's not terrible. Horro films and American-made b-reel karate films have a lot of terrible celluloid to their credit.

Ben & Arthur ...this one was rated 1.0/10 on imdb a few weeks ago. Also I would say that Black Christmas (remake) is a very bad movie too.

I have not witnessed anything as poorly written-directed-acted in years. The cgi "monster" not-so-gracefully lifted from The Castle Wolfenstein games had no depth, did not cast a shadow, or make footprints in snow even though it was 8 feet tall and all of 600 lbs.
Captivity ranks above S.S. DOOMTROOPER because Cuthbert is in it.
At least she knows how to look scared.
