At the funeral, when the "Free bird" catches on fire, descends over the crowd, and the drummer yells, "Keep Playing."

My favorite part was in the begining when drew was trying to find his way to elizabeth town, and got lost for a short time and starting hitting the sterring wheel. I dunno just the way he starting yelling made me laugh.

btw I didnt know he tried killing himself?
when was this?

I must have missed it cause I had to leave the room a few times when it was on.

There are some,

I just saw this one 4 times now during the past few days. This film apparently has nothing but small things... But increasingly and impredictably lovable ones. In the end, it's magic.

I particularly enjoyed the moment when they drive to meet at dawn, music is special at that moment, very different from the rest (which rocks absolutely on the other hand!).

I liked details too, the young girl arriving just too late with beers for Drew just after he leaves his chair to go a give the video tape for the children to watch and calm down, incredibly realistic.

The coffin going down hawkwardely also is very good. Some things can suddenly make you laugh, even at that kind of moment.

The arrival of Drew in Elizabethtown, when everyone show the way is magical. Orlando shows so much at the same time, surprise, emotion to discover so many people touched by his father's death, and joy too, about Spasmotica shoes crazy guys.

But the best scenes for me are the moment Claire leaves him in the morning, trying to wake him up, it's so sad and funny at the same time. I felt real pain for her, and even so, she achieves to make fun of the situation 'Oh, Claire, Yes! Let's have breakfast!' Amazing.

And a last one, there are so many very wonderful pieces: The moment she gives him the map, it seems she's about to abandon her plan, and crack, at his 'Does Ben even exist?' and she manages to answer 'just... just stick to the map' or something like that. Incredible.

Oh, and Heather crying out loud applauding her mother tap-dancing, or the very stewardess proffessional signs to evacuate the room during the fire, and of course the Freebird part, so much others,

All the best,

Favorite Part(s):

1. When Drew and Claire first meet. That whole little awkward conversation between them to me has always been so awesome. Their time on the airplane together when he is trying to sleep and she keeps going on and on about the most random stuff. I love that.

2. Their phone conversation. (do I need to say more.)

3. The road trip. That was perfect. I loved that she did that whole thing for him and even had music for him to play throughout the entire journey! I love all the places she sent him too and all the things he got to experience and see.

Overall I really really loved this movie! Later.

Hard to find a "favorite" as I thought there were sooooooo many great scenes!

However, the scene when Holly memorializes Mitch on the stage is priceless.

I love when hes screaming about possibly missing 60B, and when Jess(or Jessie i cant rememeber) just starts singing that song and you can hear his son screaming. Oh yeah I loved the freebird scene too.

oh, and also when drew and claire are walking to drew's room to eat and claire says something like, "Where's Mitch?"
And Drew stops and says, "I left him in the ballroom", while grabbing Claires hand and dragging her back down the hall and the music starts.
i don't know why, i just liked it a lot.

3. the scene where his father's corpse smiles and elton john's song starts.
4. the whole roadtrip at the end.

Okay, honestly, I'm not a fan of this movie.
But I think it's HILARIOUS the way he decided to try to kill himself--
Seriously. Knives??! Taped to an exercise bike??
Can you think of a more inefficient, painful, and drawn-out method of suicide?
Hilarious.

No one seemed to mention this but...

I loved ALL of the scenes mentioned about +

The scene where Jessie (?) is showing Drew the posters, talks about Rukus and Bloom says something along the lines of, "And now you fix computers" XD

I've so many favorite parts...

The big one though would have to be a tie between:
the phone conversation between Drew and Claire where they've only just met on the plane and yet somehow connect and talk for hours on the phone about everything and anything.
-and-
drew's road trip. the music, the places he visits, what he goes through...just seriously a great part of the movie.

There are a number of things I don't really like about this flick, but I love this quote, which happens before Claire makes her morning Walk of Shame:

"I will miss your lips and everything attached to them."

I actually use it sometimes and absolutely no one gets it, haha.

I thought this movie was just ok. I would have probably given it a five but I absolutely loved the Freebird performance. That scene alone was worth an extra two stars. I keep this movie on my DVR just to watch that scene occasionally. It is one of my favorite music scenes in a film.
