I can't stand it. Just started watching "One More Time" on YouTube and couldn't watch for over 1 minute. Everything looks so silly and ugly, I don't understand how anyone can like it. Despite the fact that I'm a fan of Daft Punk music. Whatever did you see that I didn't?
share"One More Time" is a small part of Interstella 5555, but if u look at the big picture, at the complete movie, it works great, they nailed it, every song, with its own tempo and style fits every scene, i love daft punk, and i dont think "One More Time" is their greatest feat, yet i find Interstella 5555 amazing. I can watch it over and over again, and so should you, just once so you could build a solid opinion about it.

shareAgree. The animation was awful even for 2003 standards and the story is maybe the most stupid ever seen on anime. Some of the tracks are decent, but, as almost any other Daft Punk tracks, it becomes boring after 1 minute. It's impossible to stay awake through all the movie!

The animation wasn't bad, it was a style choice. They wanted to make 80s style anime and they did a great job. I honestly don't understand why did you watch this in the first place since you like neither old anime, nor Daft Punk.
shareBecause I love Matsumoto's works (Ucchu Senkan Yamato, Captain Harlock, Galaxy Express and even Danguard) and mostly because of their GREAT plots. This movie totally lacks it: it's ok for a looong videoclip, but it's not enught for my taste. The animation was, of course, taken from the eighties. Still, you can find plenty of anime made today that can be both good and paying homages to that era. This looked just cheap and rushed. Of course, it's my impression.

Saw this video for the first time recently. I'm not really a fan of Daft Punk, but this is sublime, a rare sighting of creativity and art in recent history. I can forgive Daft Punk for their subsequent drivel because of how good this is.
The animation of aerodynamic is awesome, my whole family loves this movie, my children always put it on,
