shareSoul Survivors(The Killer Cut)- anybody? definitely along the same lines.. and the same crazy/must watch all of it do understand kind of movie
shareTrauma is kind of along the same lines. Deals with schizophrenia. And definitely Stay... I don't personally like Ryan Gosling but his performance alongside Ewan Mcgregor's was impressive.
shareI was going to mention 12 Monkeys and Frequency, but they have already been suggested. If you enjoyed The Jacket, I'm sure you will love the other two.

Im glad people brought up Stay, the machinist,Memento, and
Donnie Darko. They all remind me of this film
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum. - They Live
I am extremely surprised that no one has brought up BRAINDEAD (1990) - Not to be confused with "dead alive". It has Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton in it and IS SIMPLY AMAZING. you're brain wont feel right for a week after this one!
A PERFECT NIGHT IN BRAIN HORROR!
1st - BRAINDEAD (1990)
2nd - THE JACKET (2005) - One of the best movies of all time IMO
3rd - JACOB'S LADDER (1990)
"Primer" deals with many of the same "duality of timeline" issues, but remains the better movie, both for mind-expanding plot, as well as the method of travel.
sharePrimer, I should check that out.
..::Some other movies that give out similar moods and feeling to them, but arent necessarily similar in plot layout::..
One Point O 8.5/10
Stay 8.5/10
Dark City 9.5/10
If you like Braindead, with Bill Paxton, you should watch Frailty which is in a similar genre.
shareDonnie Darko has very similar vibe,
and both films are spiced with these artsy visions.
The I Inside, is a similar movie. Very good at that.
*Point taken, now getta fack outta here!*
Anybody said "Deja Vu" (2006) starring Denzel Washington?
shareThanks a zillion for your great recommendations, y'all. I love these kind of movies.
shareI'll add Vanilla Sky, as someone has already mentioned Abre los Ojos.
Sid woz ere
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind :)
shareDamn. Was just about to say Vanilla Sky and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind:)
Well, in terms of tranquil music and the protagonist going through different timezones for a loved one, these two by far are the closest matches. Imdb's suggestions are just crap.
Pop. Six. Squish. Uh uh. Cicero. Lipschitz.
The Life Before Her Eyes (2007)
Stay (2005)
Jacobs Ladder (1990)
These films all unfold in the mind of the dying protagonist.
