Has anyone liked any of the new characters after Weatherly left the show?

They all seem so bland and forgettable to me. For a while it was like a revolving door in terms of replacements coming and going to fill DiNozo's role in particular.

Abby's replacement is also dull.

as soon as Tony and Ziva left the show i sort of stopped watching NCIS. all that was left was Gibbs and Palmer and that actor Rocky's character then Gary Cole showed up.

Then creeper Wilmer Valderrama showed up where his character wasnt interesting to learn about.

now there's that nerdy black gal that's the coroner or lab techie

And Probie who is bland as hell and can’t carry the show on his own so doesn’t get promoted.

I didn’t like the Hispanic actress who would wear the bulky cardigans either. Then the blonde chick came in and she is ok but again no chemistry with team.

The black Abby is boring.

The show is past it’s used by date it has become a second rare copy of itself.

I like Gary Cole and all, but his character in the show acts like Gibbs 2.0 or whatever. That i cant stand.

My wife and I used to love "NCIS", but once Weatherly left, it quickly went downhill. We hung in there for another season or so, but it was too bland and we gave up and quit. Haven't seen it now for a few years, and don't even care anymore. If we feel like watching "NCIS" again sometime, we'll just start streaming at Season 1 and watch up till the last Weatherly episode. The same thing happened with "Law & Order". Once Jerry Orbach left, it declined greatly in interest.

The whole point of any TV show is to keep it going. Remember, keeping a show going means keeping the jobs going for the cast and crew. It doesn't matter if the show is still good or not.

reply

True and it’s usually the older actors who cling on or newer ones hoping to gain from it.

That said if a show gets too bad it starts to tarnish actors reps.

reply

Whether it's good or not matters to viewers.
