My girlfriend took this movie with her last weekend. And we watched it together.
I must say it was a pleasant surprise.
It's not that it's like one of my favorite movies now... But still it was really good.
I'll give it 7/10 :)

I liked this movie because, unlike other movies with similar plots, she didn't give into the pressure to change herself just to fit in, and in the end changed some people for the better as well. I'm not impressed with Hilary Duff as a singer, but she is a very good actress, especially in this role

Okay, this movie's not the best one I've ever seen, but I really really do love it. I think it's because it tugs on your heartstrings, and people can relate to Teri's situation. But I can't see why people don't like it so much, I mean, yeah it's a teen movie, with Hilary Duff in (to me both of those things are good) but certain, cynical people just can't enjoy it for what it is...

It's not one of my favourite movies but I've seen it many, many times and still love it. It's just got something about it that is wonderful - the message, the characters, THE MUSICAL ENVIRONMENT! Oh, and that gorgeous OLIVER JAMES! :)

Well, I really loved this movie, and I'll probably watch it again. It reminded me of my college days in the music program. Nothing but stress, concerts, and practicing for hours everyday. Of course, I like any movie that Hillary Duff is in, and she was great in this movie.
