Ryan Reynolds is unfunny and cringe in this

His corny comedic delivery is not suited towards this franchise at all. Every time he showed up on screen I felt like slicing his head off with a katana. Just insanely cringe and annoying.

I wonder why he never makes fun of this film

reply

He's basically Deadpool in this.

reply

I think he's better than Deadpool in this film

reply

HAAAAATED Ryan Reynolds in this as well. He ruined it

He's the same character/person like in almost every role he is in. He sucked and so did the film, but at least it was better than B2.

Nah, I can re-watch Blade 2 at least for the horror vibes and cool fight scenes. There was nothing redeeming about Blade Trinity and Reynolds was obnoxious and retarded.

He actually did look pretty badass in the film, but he really should have toned down on the lame sarcasm and played the badass that he SHOULD have been.

I recently rewatched the trilogy and felt that the 3rd had much better fight scenes although it does lack that horror element which is a big setback. I mean both the 2nd and 3rd have awful plots and stories, but the overuse of terrible cgi (even for early 2000's) in the 2nd is such a distraction. The 3rd was shot much better with more practical effects.

I agree he did look badass, I thought Biel did too, and I enjoyed both their fight scenes, but yes, they could have toned down the witty sarcastic remarks every time he is on screen. It didn't help that the villains in this film, including some of the actors, were crap as well.

He was auditioning for Deadpool.

He got the job.

Wesley Snipes also allegedly referred to co-star Ryan Reynolds as a "cracker" on one or more occasions. Snipes denied that version of events and said that as an executive producer on the film he had the authority to decide but that some people had difficulty accepting that.
