Has he ever made a film about a real person that was a remotely accurate depiction of that person's life, rather than the Hollywood palatable / Academy Award contention version?
He should just make films with original characters and not pretend they are based on fact.

shareI have news for the OP...no one, not one single director has made a movie about a real life person that is accurate.
Movies are designed to entertain first and foremost. They have no responsibility to educate or inform.
If you want to learn about people from history, read a book. Or maybe watch a documentary (though even they are never fully accurate sometimes).
All movies based on real life people are adapted for the screen, and changes need to be made for various reasons too numerous to mention.
