I thought he was a great character. I love when he sings and dances. I also love the way he talks. I like everything about him. He rocks.
I also like Melman, Gloria, Marty, Alex, Maurice, Mort, and Phil.

Me and my friend watched this movie today and we were quoting almost everything he said. (yeah, we're weird)
"Anyone else have the heebie jeebies....no....ok so shut up!" (might be off but close)
"now who wants a coo-kie!!"
"I don't want it, I have a new crown, it's bigger and it has a gecko!"

Actually, he waits EXACTLY 5 SECONDS (I counted it the 3rd time I saw the movie) before delivering that hilarious line. A little impatient, ain't he?
Julien was the funniest dang thing IN that movie, with Melman the hypochondriac giraffe and the Penguins tied for second.
He's got all the best lines, not to mention a great entrance. (I LIKE TO MOVE IT!!!)

did you notice that King Julien said 'sassy' instead of 'sexy' as the original song goes? they obviously did that to keep a G rating.
BTW, Karaoke Revolution did that too. they cut out Addicted's "I'm a dick" lin as well as changed Complicated's 'crappy' to 'preppy'

i luv frikin julien,he makes me laugh. my mum and my sister as both Jamaican, and my mum kept howling evry time he opened his mouth.... it wasnt even jamaican! 2 us he sounded trini...(trinidadian)... but DEF not jamaican...gotta luv him tho.
i like the skeleton hand thing, kinda creepy like it was an extension of his actual hand..teehee
I agree it was either a really bad Indian accent or a very exaggerated Jamican or West Indian accent. Either way the character was a bit annoying but funny at times.
However, having seen this movie - it leaves me with an eerie feeling that racist attitudes were prevalent in the portrayal of the character, rather the over-exaggerated accent. I'm not fond of Sacha Baron Cohen, seeing as how much of his 'characters' are modeled after Asian stereotypes.
King Julien makes this movie live. lol hes awesome! my fav. character
