I thought he was a great character. I love when he sings and dances. I also love the way he talks. I like everything about him. He rocks.
I also like Melman, Gloria, Marty, Alex, Maurice, Mort, and Phil.

King Julien was my favorite character by far (with Marty a close second). Dumb as dirt but still in charge. Occasionally manages to do the right thing, on accident. Reminds me of manager's I've had.
I like how they changed the lyrics of Move It to match the movie. I couldn't catch all the lyrics because of the heavy Jamaican accent in the original.

I really enjoyed Julien's version but I kept cringing at how many mistakes there were. I always say, leave the Jamaican stuff to the real Jamaicans, man.

I loved Ali G in this movie.. as I do in most of his work.. His voice is pure heaven ;) Almost cant wait to see Madagascar 2 :)
Though, I must say that I enjoyed Melman a great deal too.. I think those two are a tie, followed by Maurice with his "They've come to kill us! And take our women! And our precious metals!” The penguins are great too..
