Did any1 cry at this movie.

I'll be honest. I'm a guy and I don't usually cry at movies,
but every time I watch this movie. I can't help but cry
especially wen Al Michaels says "Do you believe in Miracles".
The whole ending was emotional and Kurt Russell's performance
made this movie.

Yup.

reply

Always. The memories it evokes are very special.

reply

Absolutely. The greatest moment in American sports history. I cried.

reply

I get goosebumps and chills every time I see/hear it.It is without a doubt are biggest moment in all of our sports history.I know some people wanna list other upsets in pro sports, but the bottom line is they will never compare to this.Remember these were kids going up against basically a machine.(I know it sounds like an Ivan Drago Rocky 4 moment)Remember this is the same Russian team that beat the NHL All Stars in the same time period.

reply

I cried when I saw how many of the players went on to work in the financial business. One even worked for Bear Stearns. I guess if you can beat the Soviets you can bring down the American economy. Pretty sad. Difficult to know whether to laugh or cry.

reply

Yup, it was completely the players' fault. How could I not have realized it before?

It's my RIGHT to offend you!!!

reply

Super point and well articulated, steverunderscorehunt, because a few hockey players went into the financial industry they brought down the American Economy. I shouldn't respond to such an idiotic post but Steve's stupidity is astounding and naive.A typical spoilsport...who doesn't want anyone to have positive memories or romanticize anything. No matter how great and inspirational.

Had they become politicians it would have been their fault for running up the national debt. Had they been in the Oil Industry the Exxon oil spill would have been their fault. Had they become Astronauts the Challenger disaster would have been their fault.

reply

I cried when Herb cut Ralph Cox from the team. That scene gets me every time.

reply

I don't cry, but I always get chills at that part.

reply

Cry? Every darn time

reply

It depends on your own memories. I get choked up when they play football in the snow at Christmas. Reminds me of my brothers when we played all winter growing up in Minnesota. And of course the pre-game speech. greatest ever. " Not this game...not tonight.
