I don't mind the music - it could've been worse. I barely even noticed that this movie supposedly has 'too much music' (there are other productions that have almost constant music, and it can also be a good thing in those, too - the drawn masterpiece "The Snowman" (the original version with the original intro) comes to mind, for example - the music IS the dialog and narration in that 'short movie').
Another movie with almost-constant music is "Liar, Liar", and it fits there really well, too - no complaints.
I don't even mind if a movie has a bit of nonsense going on, or a 'ludicrous premise', or implausible physics, or over-the-top action, or things that could never happen in real life, etc. etc.
I do mind this movie's multi-level stupidity, though. Things like 'the protagonist ALREADY KNOWS Uma's face from BEFORE the memory wipe', 'Uma's character NOT WIPING THE MIRROR after reading the message, while also NOT HIDING her emotional reactions at all when reading the message', 'The 'favorite baseball team' already being PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE (that even the 'antagonist' knows, but somehow doesn't tell the woman that's trying to deceive the protagonist in the café)', and so on and so forth.
I don't actually mind the protagonist running from the subway train, that's just 'unrealistic movie fun' - similar things happen a lot in James Bond-movies, and I am OK with that.
