Worst Story?
I thought world record. I didn't get it. Bout you?
shareBeyond, no question. Every segment either had a much deeper meaning or tied in very neatly with the trilogy's storyline. Beyond's message was about children losing their sense of wonder and belief in 'magic'. Unfortunately, this message has nothing to do with the matrix. I thought that the 10 second shot of the child in the snow from Renaissance II had more emotion than this entire segment. If i'm not mistaken, this is also one of the longest segments, and it also offers the least information/action. Like i said, the point of this segment was to show you a child's sense of wonder, which had nothing to do with the other segments.
shareI have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed every episode. Some had their odds and ends to them, but none of them sucked. None of them sucked at all, really.
If any story was off to me, it was a Detective Story (which featured Trinity and was still well-written). I didn't follow well enough to know what was going on in the plot, and it got lost in the mix for me.
I'd just like to say that in my opinion, World Record was far from being the worst story. It was a good story that gave another character ties to the real world, and he represented the type of person worthy of finding out the truth. But hey, we're not the same anyway.

I liked "Final Flight of the Osiris" the least of the bunch. Just not much of a story to it, just style over substance. The style shouldn't be understated, but still. "Matriculated" also had this problem (maybe even more so), but at least had a more interesting story.
