Tom and the other dude having been hit at least twice that I saw would NEVER have been able to have that touching death scene

Been ages since I’ve seen it but it’s a pointless battle too. An already depleted force of Samurai decide to charge into Gatling gun and modern firearms. The results are expected.
From memory the Samurai had the option to join the new military too.
And Cruise’s character going along for the ride is crazy.
From a visual perspective it’s interesting old vs new but it’s still a pointless battle. Even if the Samurai win there will be reinforcements coming in to finish them off.
