What did you think were the funniest moments?

I thought the funniest moment ever on the film was when the Cat chopped off his tail and when you see his reaction and then cuts to the cat hanging on a rope with the words 'Hang in their Baby', it still makes me laugh today.

Asta La Vista Baby!!

That was funny. But judging by the boards and the obvious hate of this film, I appear to be it's only fan. That scene was funny, though.

"I believe you have my stapler."

Every piece of crap has to have a Klingon,...and Uranus speaks for itself.

Mine probably was when Cat looks at the picture of their mom.
I once saw a screaming rainbow...but it was just technical difficulties.

I loved the "chopping off the tail scene"

I also loved the scene where Myers is holding a garden tool and he says
"Dirty hoe... I'm sorry baby, I love you."
then he pretends like he's going to lick it. LOL

I liked it when the cat got hit in the nads and then they show him on a swing with lionel ritchies' "easy" and a unicorn in the back.lol!

I enjoyed the film. Myers was great. I haven't actually read the book, maybe that's why people don't like the movie so much, because they're comparing... I don't know... But the film wasn't bad. It had a nice child-like feeling and the scenery was pretty cool. Myers was real funny though, one of my favourite bits was when he was out in the garden with the hoe and he goes : "Dirty hoe..." and pushes it away and then pulls it back saying something like "I'm sorry, you know I love you..." haha. Although the Cat was very Dr.Evil/Austin-esque I thought he was great :)

It's a children's book(and really short too) same idea with the Grinch film. It's obvious that the Grinch film has plenty of Carrey's humor while Cat In The Hat is Myers influenced. The two films were made for the purpose of bringing the characters to "life"(because everyone knows them) it's not so much the story. You people need to stop bashing on this film. Anyways, it's funny! I liked it! I prefer the Grinch but this one's okay too.

I loved that scene where the Cat is talking about what thing 2 wants to be called. My family cracked up when he yelled "chocolate thunda!"

OR BEN :-))Greatttt

The whole tellymarketing scene, "I'm the guy in the sweater who asks all the really obvious questions"

and when he's fixing the couch, I can't remember exactly what he says but it cracks me up when he's hitting the elephant trunk.

What you say??

It's not so much in the movie, but the outtakes on the dvd are the funniest that ive ever seen (actually, maybe Finding Neverland's are better, but ho hum) - Where Conrad falls over with the dog in his hands and you hear him shout "holy crap" makes me laugh so hard every time!!!

And then he goes: Listen baby, the dress was already ruined *snipe fingers and move head* whahaha lol... and the scene when the kids have 2 options and then the cat goes like: There is a thirth option... it involves "murder"... and then the kids go: really!? and he goes: no, I just wanted to have an option... or did I *evil face* whahaha lol.... yeah.... you don't understand me don't you.... well... Auatralian?!?
Didn't him being introduced as a 'cat from Cheshire' give you a clue?
Although, to be fair, that wasn't a CHechire accent, more like Lancastrian.

I'm glad someone else spotted that, that accent was definitely the wrong side of Manchester for Cheshire

yes that was the funniest line. I had to stop the dvd and rewind just to make sure I heard that correctly. I am laughing now just thinking about it.

reply

you are wrong, anything connected with farts in funny

reply

I honestly laughed REALLY hard at this movie. Mike Myers did an awesome job and I thought that they did a great job making a movie for not just kids but teens and adults too. But I don't know if I'd want my kids to watch it...
