Massively underrated!

My god this movie is hilarious. People always rip on it because its quite unrealistic, but with that said... who the *beep* cares?! this is easily in my opinion the funniest Sandler comedy.

Agreed. I was wrong to doubt this film at first. Highly underrated.
The DVD is $3.99 at Circuit City...

I think Sandler's best film is The Wedding Singer. But I think he's fab in this, it is underrated, and yes, it's brilliantly funny. (but I have to admit I like it for Jack Nicholson)

I think Sandler is great in every movie.
He is one of my favorite actors.
And of course, this one is one of the best, I own it.

hell ya! this movie is a roll-over-and-laugh-till-you-dye kind of movie. it's wourth at lest 7.5 i just cracked my self laughting.

Agreed this movie makes me laugh till my stomach hurts every time i see it.... it should have st least 7/10

No dudes remember? If it's a comedy and was a very well made film, it gets under 6.1, if it's a drama that was ok, it gets a 9.0, thats how IMDB works.

Dude even Jack Nicholson was very funny and I did enjoy he's voice.

I agree. Although it is hugely unrealistic and kinda, well, stupid. But definitely Sandler's best movie.

Not really under-rated, it's a funny film, above average but nothing special. Therefore six seems about fair.

Certainly not. I thought the humor was pretty broad and simplistic, i.e. like most of Adam Sandler's movies. I didn't end up laughing hardly at all, except for the "I feel pretty" bit.

I like it when Sandler does movies in which he doesn't have as much of a hand in writing. There he shows real talent. His dramatic turns are particularly interesting.

I think he ought to ditch the style he's made his name on and instead start picking other projects, working with other directors, etc.

Almost everything in imDb is underrated. And this one is highly underrated.

Considering all the other great comedies out there, this movie is definitely not underrated. A score of around six is quite fair.

So true... this movie is hilarious, and well casted too... I love Jack Nicholson for this role, and John Turturro and Luis Guzman only add to the film.. they're both great.

NO WAY!, this is a 'ok' "Sandler Comedy" i give it a 6/10... it's one of Sandlers forgettable films if you ask me overall. (even though im sure it had a few decent moments in the film)

Happy Gilmore is easily Sandlers best (especially in his 'old days') ever overall.... even in recent times, i would still choose stuff like Click/Mr Deeds etc over this one.
