Better than the first!
This one is definitely better than the first one. More individuals involved in this movie and more action.

they completely discarded the song, the truck or the cave. Suppositely it is the same day as the first one a few miles away than the first one
shareOk dude:
#1 It was not a cave but the basement of an old church, which the movie went into a lot of detail about.
#2 They played a little of the song at the end
#3 We are to presume the truck is parked nearby beacuse he is not chasing the school bus, the school bus has been disabled.
#4 The movie clearly explained it is NOT the same day as the first movie, it is the 23rd day of the creeper's cycle and the broadcast they listen to while on the bus says it's been four days since the church was set on fire.
#5 SUPPOSEDLY
No. More action doesn't equal to better movie, especially for horror flicks. More individuals involved? The acting was worse with some exceptions.
Giving more screen time to the vilain and trying to make him look like Freddy was stupid too.
All in all, it was worse than the first. Less suspense, more bad cgi, more stupid characters involved etc.
