No jokes ... Who actually liked this movie?

I gotta say and I'm being honest here, this was not a bad movie. It's not necessarily a good movie, but it's middle of the road (not the donkey turd every body else calls it). It had some interesting characters, some wacky performances and a strange plot. It's no classic, but it's better than say "Meet the Spartans" or "Battlefield Earth".

"And this baby's made of chocolate lollipops."

I just got done watching this movie, and enjoyed it enough. It's not nearly as bad as everybody made it out to be. I can best describe it for people who haven't seen it yet as "Rain Man" if it was directed by Kevin Smith.

I like this movie.

It's not a good movie by any means, but I definitely didn't find it "awful" or as bad as some people have been saying.
It's an average flick with a weird plot and mediocre performances. Doesn't deserve the negative reaction though, that's for certain.

I can't say I really liked it, but it doesn't deserve the rating or the backlash it receives. It was mildly entertaining. I mean I didn't feel overly bored watching it, but it doesn't scream... rent me or buy me.

I figure most of the arm chair critics here on IMDB haven't really seen the film and have jumped on the band wagon.

Some of the worst films ever made usually come from indie cinema. At least that is what we're told, and I don't mean Pulp Fiction indie... I am talking about guys and gals with a dream to make a movie and when they do it doesn't have the hollywood flash everyone comes to know and love and automatically get dismissed.

However, there are some terrible indie films. I know I directed one. =)

Unlike most so-called critics, I enjoyed this movie very much! I watched it with an open mind, took it for the comedy/drama it was advertised as, not thinking of how much it cost to make or how much money grossed or lost in the making of it or how big or well known any of the cast was and found it was a highly entertaining and a very engrossing movie! I found myself laughing out loud several times and was totally shocked by the scene involving Pacino. An 8 out of 10 for me!

This movie was done by a director who didn't really feel the whole thriller theme deep down, you could tell. The lighting was bad; that's what killed hte movie the most, the whole severed finger thing.
But I was surprised that it's considered one of the worst of all time... the actors managed to just forget the director and have fun w/it. Jennifer Lopez turned up her sexy full-blast; the scene where she stretches on the mat and explains to Affleck why lesbians are in fact lesbians was a memorable scene - erotic and even insightful. THe director lost his grasp on the movie, but the actors kept on doing their thing. It was nice to see Affleck and Lopez together. In a movie where the director is more demanding, you don't get to see the actors beign themselves. Here, it seemed all bets were off and you just watch and see what makes the actors what they are.
