Would Papa Doc and his gang in real life really gang up on him like that?

Even if in a somewhat quiet caravan area where there could be witnesses, and the little child Lily even witnessed it, actively beating him and even pointing a gun at him (what if the gun accidentally went off and killed him?), and why couldn't Eminem's character attempt to get away and call the police etc?

Plus, how were they so sure for instance that his mum will not be at home and may somehow from a caravan call the police on them?

And given how his beef with him was really over someone else, why would Papa Doc like that point a gun at him?

Cheers.

Yes, it was realistic. That area in Detroit is known for being dangerous and crime-riddled . There are violent gangs in places like this . If his mom were home, they would have just went with the beat down just the same

Calling police would have ostracized rabbit in that community: he’d be labelled as soft and weak, and people would think of him as a snitch.

Papa Doc attacked him because the guy Rabbit attacked was part of the crew. It’s just how gangs worked. Attack one member, and the rest attack you
