Who Thinks Eminem is a Good Actor?

I sure do.

I think so. People said he's playing himself, well, yeah but remember this is a semi-autobiography. Eminem did have to act as there were various things that happened in his life spread out in tho film, other than that he had to act and he did a great job. I was amazed how great and natural he was. I would like to see him in another film. There are films he is/was supposed to do. There was a 3D horror film called Shady Talez, the status on that is unknown, as is the Have Gun, Will Travel film he was supposed to star in. The only things that seemed to be legit that people seem to say he's gonna do after his next album comes out are two films: South Paw and Random Acts of Violence. South Paw will be something like 8 Mile, in terms of being a semi-autobiogrophy. As for Random Acts of Violence, in the film he's supposed to be a newly released ex-con whom the FBI is trying to recruit to help bring down his former partners in crime. I include this as a possible film as his Reps didn't confirm, but then again they didn't deny wether he'd appear in the film. Who knows, I'd like to see him appear in more films if he'd like too, cause I certainly would like to see him up on the big screen after all these years not being in movies, as well just being a movie fan and an Eminem fan.

I haven't seen 8 Mile(I want to) however gauging from what people have said here about him playing himself. If you have ever been on camera you should know it isn't easy to act like yourself. If he really was able to play himself without hamming it up then I would say he is at least a decent actor.

Gentleman, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room.

He was being himself is all. It was basically his life story... and yes, he can act better than most actors we've all seen and praised. But it's not his thing, he can do both but rap is what made him famous and he's one of a kind. We can all relate to him in some way, most more than others.

I do, i thought he nailed his part .

It's tough to say, as he was drawing literally from his assumed personal experience and was playing himself. Therefore, was he acting ? Anyway, it was a good performance, either way.

absolutely

As usual, everyone seems to overlook the fact that good acting is more dependent on the director and the script than the actual actor.
