I actually really enjoyed this movie!!
Dont know why everyone is hating it. It was fast paced, funny and i was grinning by the time the credits rolled. This movie was fun!
:O( Not enough characters to write my sig :O(

This was far from being a good film, but I'll agree with you about it being fun.
I spent a happy couple of hours ripping the piss out of it watching it with my brother last night.
well to be fair, i think it could have been worce, and addmitadly the plot wasnt entirely original.
Im sure each one of us was astounded at the fantastic use of imagination and brillience when they decided to make steven an under cover cop.
I cant think of any other films where a hostile environment is being shot up by terrorists, but luckly, mr steven imanundercovercop/exnavysealcook/anythingelsethatcouldequiphimwithetrainingtotakeonandwipeoutandentireterrorist forcesinglehanded, is there to save the day, and save a poor old judge who has been thrown out of a helicopter and cant seem to find the rip chord to her parachute.
This film, like many other segel films, was an endless torrent of bile.
But it was entertaining bile. Having said that if i had to sit through a few more of those acursed slow-mo moments, i would have probably thrown my coffee table at the screen.
But back to my point about it being entertaining.
Thats one of the most important things about films like this. The are designed to be fun and help you forget about the world for an hour and a half.
And this film did that.
Admitadly, when it fininshed it was rather like crashing out after an acid trip, but still, it was fun hey.
And thats all that matters
the movie is entertaining, give me a break
but we must accept that on imdb it mostly nerds(i'm maybe one of them) who think godfather is the best film on the planet! ... it's a good movie but it's not entertaining...
How many people truly know to sky dive anyway? I certainly don't with the exception of every TV show with this stunt. I'm sure the judge wasn't mentally thinking about that at that stage. Some might, until you're in a situation like with no technical training, better to roll the dice.

This probably is a common theme in your life. Why do you enjoy stuff others think is utter crap? I can tell you, your humor is stuck at the level of an infant, you likely enjoy jokes about body functions, you never read a book, etc. I could go on, but I think you might be able to get the point already. The movie has a horrible script, the actors* are bad and d'oh, it's a Steven Segal movie. It is watchable if you are intoxicated and want to enjoy something really trashy with friends, but other than this it's just a waste of time.

* If some pretty bad german actors suddenly are the most likeable guys in a movie, something is seriously wrong.
I liked it cause i've never laughed so much in my life, this movie was so pathetic at some points i fell from my chair...embarrasing but so funny

I love it. Another one I have in my collection. I like the bits of music, throughout the movie. Cool I thought. Espesially the song being played towards the end , when Kurupt was talking to his girlfriend.
sharealthough this is pretty much WGN, TBS movies we like fodder. This shouldve been much better with a better lead then Segal. Bruce Willis or Nicolas Cage wouldve been better.

I can't stand Steven Seagal movies, and in fact, I think the guy's a dolt, even if he IS a superb martial artist. But I have to admit, I actually really dug this movie. Seagal was just part of the chemistry (which is probably why I liked this movie so much, it wasn't focused around just him),...but Morris Chestnut (MEOW!) and Peeples, and Ja Rule (LUV that man's voice!),...that made the whole thing actually quite enjoyable. It was the first time I watched, (all the way through) and thoroughly enjoyed a Seagal movie.

I enjoyed this movie because it was so hillarious, like that sequence where the guy flies out of spinning car, flies across the hall, lands on other car's windshield and stands up after that and says: "I am going to get you for that!" and laughs completely unharmed (atleast I think it went this way, correct me if I am wrong).
This movie is just... So amazingly bad that it is somehow a good film.
Yeah, how was the door opened is my only question? I'm sure you throw someone from a car like that, but only if some dumb son of a bitch opens the damn door. I forgot that as another little cue. Still love the film though. It's the little things that kill people.
