What was the moment that first 'sold' Trailer Park Boys for you?

Like many fans, I remember being very put off by this show before even giving it a chance. One late night, I was staying up until 1:30 am on a Friday and I remember the final episode of Season 1 rolled around. I thought it was a real documentary at first. I reluctantly watched a bit and found myself slowly drawn to the story. Then a chuckle here and there. About 1/2 way through, I "got" the show's humour/sense of parody. I thought it was genius. But the 2 moments that killed me and made me a fan forever were:

#1. The grocery store robbery. I don't think I had ever laughed so hard in my entire life.

#2. When Bubbles brags about his "tuxedo". It broke my heart, and really me to the character and the show's ability to convey happiness as a matter of perspective.

What about you guys?

julian made it hard for me to get into it at first, his acting was bad, ricky's wasn't that great either but his pathetic-ness and the way he turned that car into a home in the most ridiculous way is what sold me, the little details in his survival and his contentment with it, bubbles was still in his character's experimental stage at that point as a forrest gump type character so he didn't sell me either, I can't remember a certain scene but I will say this "chicken fingers"

yeah that robbery had me hooked, bubbles and the AK, corey and trevor just grabbing bananas and julian and ricky are like WHY? yet they're all eating one on the way home haha!!!

also that scene where they're stealing a guys riding mower or something and rick grabs the microphone and says "could ya give us some fkn' help here" (before he gets shot and left at a hospital) really made this show seem different too, you never see that on television, I love how they're actors playing character being harassed by a camera crew, it's all just a nuisance to them rather than a reality show where they want the cameras and feel the need to perform in front of them
