granted i never saw the first one, and had no expectations. i thought the movie was interesting, maybe not the best, but definitely not a waste of time. and the ending kept me guessing. i had to draw my own conclusions about the whole thing and everything else unexplained which was fun...
shareI'd say Hypercube is about a 6.5, fun imagination exercise but ultimately unsatisfying. The Original should be an 8 for a good story and a fresh take on the characters in search of an exit.
shareI liked Cube, but actually slightly preferred Cube 2. Yet to see Cube Zero so hopefully I'll get the chance soon. :)

I loved it as well; maybe not as good as the first, but still a great sequel (and better than Cube Zero, imo which was also pretty good).
