HATED THE ENDING

did anyone else hate the ending? because i had to watch it for school and it was awful!!

reply

I rather liked the ending, actually.
Since the real Ned Kelly was hung, they couldn't let him live happily ever after...

I LOVED the ending. It was moving, and the song in the end is beautiful.

The real Ned Kelly was indeed hanged, but do you know how well hung he was?

The ending hated you too =P

My problem with ending was that I felt it was a waste not to actually show Ned in the Melbourne Gaol, since it is still there in Melbourne today.

reply

I cry everytime i see the movie.
Mostly cause of what he says after everyone had died and he's bein taken away,
Not that i didnt cry when they got shot, n commited suicide. But it was sooo sad

Life is not the amount of breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away.

I'm sure Ned Kelly hated the way things ended too.

Yes I hated the ending of
Titanic also, It would have been better if the ship did not sink

PS I didn't see this one yet, it is on one of the pay movie channels and I wanted to see if it was worth watching (HBO2 4:30 PM 11/27/07)

reply

My friends had to hold me down every time one of the gang died...I almost threw my Coke at the screen...lol...

Makes you wanna go back in time to fix things up... me, if I could, I'd go, find out who killed Joe (and set the house on fire, and caught Ned...), hunt 'em down and stab an ice picker-upper(idr the name) and stab it midflow in their backs...

Or just get the dude who saved the train... that would be alot easier...

Actually the ending is so good but dramatic.

Orlando Bloom proves he can play in that film. Good performances in that movie.

reply

Exactly. Why do we make criminals into heroes. Think of the ppl that were killed because of Ned. He was the son of a criminal and he just followed in his fathers footsteps.

reply

One man's rebel is another man's hero. George Washington was once considered a terrorist too.

i suppose he had to steal to survive.

i also hated the ending. I can't believe they all died. I guess thats what happened though. Heath was great in this movie.

I read up on Wikipedia after watching the film that in actual fact, only one police officer was wounded in that final shoot out and two hostages killed.

reply

That movie made me sooooo depressed!!! At the end, I was crying so hard that my shirt was wet.

reply

I guess most people who went to see it knew the real story in advance...

reply

Lol how else did you want it to end? Do you know the story?

Exactly. You can't exactly avoid endings like that when it's the facts of the matter.
